The Flare Gun can also be used as a more powerful, yet more unreliable mid range weapon. The Powerjack is mainly used for the set. There, half of the team is gone. Best Pyro secondaries (Not "Best" Best, but "Best for the sanity of your teammates") are Detonator, Flare Gun, and Thermal Thruster. Scorch Shot isn't recommended 'cause it can screw your team's aim. Detonator and Thruster helps with extra mobility, and Flare Gun does critical hits if the robots are on fire.
