General questions are welcomed. I actually like being a CCA.. I’m about 5 weeks into working as a CCA and so far I’m pretty much loving the job. I came from food service and retail and was so burnt out on customer facing roles as I’m just not good at those positions, and this has been a breath of fresh air. It's impossible for a new CCA to make more than you. It doesn't work like that. New CCAs make $18.92. The new CCAs can't make more per hour. It's 18.92 but how much a new CCA makes depends on the amount of OT you work and how often you get off days. My office is understaffed and I get lots of OT and penalty.
