A 226 would be more comparable to a Glock 17 being that the 226 is a duty size gun, and the 19 would be more comparable to the 229/228 compact (ish) size. It comes down to whether you want a hammer gun or a striker gun though, cause they are both rock solid pistols. If youre into the aftermarket stuff, Glock wins hands down. I like them pretty much box stock myself, night sights and maybe some stippling depending on the finish. Mags are also dirt cheap compared to the SIG's, and if you get the Korean mags, as cheap as $8 a mag for the 17's.
