Jeep jk running hot.

2019 Wrangler JL unlimited this is my first Jeep Ok the JL seems to run really hot I mean putting your hand on the hood after a few miles it is really uncomfortable. The gauge says over 200 degrees. Blend door actuator for sure for the no-heat-in-the-cabin deal, but the engine overheating seems far out for that. maybe a clogged heater core (might impede flow) Im dealing with no heat in cabin right now, except on the highest setting. Started to overheat after a trip to an ORV park but I washed the radiator out and its pretty clean on the outside. Also drained and refilled the system completely.Mine only appears to be running hot after I have been going down the road and have the A/c on. If I turn the A/C off, the temp goes back down after a mile or so. Speed does not seem to matter... only the A/C running. The jeep is a 2004 4.0L 5 speed. I am not the original owner but have had the jeep for more than 2 years.

It seems that there are more complaints from owners with 12 plus 3.6 JK's running hot, but in most instances it's normal. The variable speed fan is a better set up than prior year JK's. I recently got to 240 (with a couple seconds at 244) while towing a heavy trailer uphill on the interstate in 89F weather - 4000 rpm in 3rd at 55 mph. So yeah, 250 isn’t normal.

It is NOT consuming any coolant at all, it has not gone down since the last flush. There is coolant pressurizing the hoses and in the radiator. The heater works fine.
