Day 2 it was back at the dealer for a coolant leak (hose not fully clipped on at factory, so they say) after 180 miles. Truck went into limp mode almost immediately after message popped up. Drove 25 mph to dealer 60 miles away. They performed a service regen but could not find another issue.

I have a '05 2500HD with the Duramax Diesel /Allison trans. and bought it with the stock air box and with it had very slow throttle reponse. I added on a Bully Dog Air Intake and did very little if anything to quicken it. It is most noticeable from a dead stop and hitting the throttle. It seems like it takes forever to kick in.

(There are many types of head gasket sealers available in the market. Keep the engine idle for 50 to 55 minutes. Install the radiator cap. Both types need a flow of oil all the time.
