I took car in for emmission test last night, the tech could not perform the emission test because the tech received a code stating the O2, EGR and Catalyst sensors were Not Ready. He reset the codes and had no change. I drove it about 40 miles, went back get emissions check, and still had the same codes.If it were me and the test came back as okay for the sensor, I would buy a spark plug defouler, install it with the downstream 02 sensor, unhook the battery for a few minutes, and drive around. If the CEL stays off, I would leave it and call it good.
