First thing to check is firewall and anti-virus, make sure they haven't partially blocked Siege from using internet connection. Another problem can be UPNP -protocol. Google "Rainbow Six: Siege upnp problem" and read up, if someone has similiar issue than you and fixed it with UPNP settings.

If you’re on PC, go to your network adapter settings, click your wifi whatever, then disable your IPV6, relaunch, if you get put into the menu but everything’s disconnected, close your game again and re-enable. Ubisoft Support are currently aware of server degradation.. Whether it is related to this "ghost squad" issue or not, there isn't any confirmation. Just keep your eyes on the Ubisoft Support Twitter for any more information that comes out..
