Remove the egr valve. U don't not need to remove alot.of stuff. Remove the hose coming off the pressure regulator number 2 and plug it off on the return hose side. If fuel is definitely going to the motor and it still wont start and stay running then you need to check rail pressure. Good scanners are not cheap.
