After setting it up and running a cycle, it immediately showed 95% full. Turned it off and on again, same thing. Hitting reset in the app did the trick! It's been running fine since then. It had possibly been thrown off as I'd yanked the plug while it was maybe half full, or perhaps giving it a complete tear down had thrown it out of alignment.
