But if you’ve got any other type of AR-15, you can buy and drop this LaRue upper on your any-brand AR-15 lower, toss on a magnified scope, use match ammo or your own handloads, and easily shoot under 1-inch groups at 100 yards. It's not worth (1) waiting for a sale to get it close to the price of the LaRue, and (2) it's not a better trigger than the LaRue. The LaRue is smoother than the G2S. I'm not saying the G2S is a bad trigger, not at all. The LaRue is better, and cheaper. Of note, I do have all triggers I've referenced in this post, and many more.

They're different types of triggers so you can't really compare them directly. But when it comes to the value hierarchy in their specific niches, the MBT-2S has no real competition in it's price range while there are many alternatives to the RA triggers. The other lower has a LaRue MBT-2s trigger. With the MBT trigger, it would cycle and feed the next round, but the trigger would not reset. The uppers works perfectly with its home lower, with a milspec trigger. I am curious if others have had this issue. specs: Anderson stripped upper.

The 4.5lb two-stage laure is nice for my bench rifles but I was leaning towards a single stage for my x39 carbine for rapid fire work and hunting. I think I will try to POF in it because the hammer inst as lightened and may hold up to the increased blowback of the x39 better than the CMC.
