my first idea for strong lightning conduit auto cast build .extreme tank 50m+ dps81% chaos resist80% phy resist-200% light penetration75% shock eficientI started playing around with a Lightning Conduit Elementalist given where we are in the league. I had about 10 Divines and some extra chaos to invest and this is what I have been able to come up with. I will say I got the Awakened Lightning Penetration gem for basically free and probably a few other late season bargains. https://pastebin.com ...The nice thing with Storm Brand is that its activation frequency (.5s) is the same as Lightning Conduit's cast time, which allows every cast of lightning conduit to hit a shocked target. Arcanist Brand's activation frequency is 1s, so you would have to invest heavily into Activation frequency to align the cast rates.Lightning Conduit + Elemental Focus + Lightning Penetration + Energy Leech + Cruelty + Added Lightning Damage (6th Link) Lightning Conduit is a lightning spell that can only damage shocked enemies in an area around our character. League started with lightning conduit working on upgrading build till this final showcase. Self crafted all the gear except for uniques and jewels. Ending up...I built it very glass-cannony, since scaling damage with it is much easier than scaling defenses (I went the power charge stacking route). I know build makers want to keep their builds going, but honestly Arc (and most Lighting spells honestly) died the moment LC was released.

The actual minimum shock for a lightning hit with shaper of storms is 18% = 15% + 0.2 * 15%. Since all your shocks are minimum 18%, you don't need to scale shock as if dealing more damage or w/e, you just need to land the smallest shock possible. Since Lightning Conduit of the heavens doesn't have any scaling unlike its counterpart where you scale shock, I try to take advantage of its high base lightning and damage effectiveness.
