How many snaps? Well that's what Sub In is for. As the starter sits on the sidelines and misses plays, their Fatigue number rises. Once their Fatigue hits the Sub In, the starter will return to play on the next down.On offense, the QB and offensive line starters stay in but only backups are in at HB, WR, and TE. On defense, the starters at MLB, CB1, and FS stay in, but everything else gets replaced with backups. I have progressive fatigue turned off. Tried various fatigue slider settings, still not changing anything. Auto Sub settings haven't been touched.

There's really no reason why a starter shouldn't come out if indeed all the bolts are out. I just turn off my wireless controller while starting a game, and then turn it back on during the loading screen, and it is fixed. If you have a second controller, or did not select that correct team at the start of the game, it can make it so you are controlling multiple players at once.You can play around with it as long as you don't beat them to death with high intensity practice cause then you will not have your starters on the field in the playoffs.
