Didn't want to resurrect an old thread and there's not much information online. What A/C set up did you use? Was A/C crucial in a shiftpod? Did you use a shade structure?
I cannot emphasize enough how nice it was to be able to sleep during the hottest parts of the day in a comfortable 22*c/71*f environment. The ShiftPod is also designed to work with dual-hose AC, so no cutting or mending of the exterior is required. My one piece of advice for anyone considering a ShiftPod is to be careful buying a generator.

Shiftpod states you have to dry out the tent perfectly to avoid mold. That's exceptionally difficult to do. Google shiftpod and "mold". A ton of people have this problem. The best and common solution is a reflective surface above and over a regular tent. Add a swamp cooler if you need one to stay cooler during the day.
