Piercing itchy.

My first set of piercings are almost 20 years old, the one that started oozing is about a decade old. I have two side by side, run of the mill piercings on ear lobes. I recently put in a pair of earrings with no issues, except the hole I wasn't wearing the earrings in got red/bled/oozed pus. There were absolutely no earrings in that piercing.about 2 and 1/2 weeks old, barbell shape, externally threaded, not sure what material it is, i use sea salt water and get a qtip then clean the piercing hole (where crusties are) the piercing, and then the inside of my nostril i also blow bubbles in the sea salt water. 1.
