Truck will intermittently not start when temp is below 35 degrees. The only code is p0090. I clear the code and it starts up immediately.

If my memory serves me right , thats fuel rail pressure too high, and sender.The truck showed a p0090 fuel pressure reg code. I tried replacing the mid harness and replacing the fuel pressure regulator. Truck starts up and sounds like its knocking then alms down a bit and sounds like a lb7 but fuel rail pressure stays around 20-23k there is no demand for it as the truck is idling. It's in limp at 2k hits a rev limiter.

I believe there is a procedure for reset and relearn. If you have a bidirectional scan tool, you should be able to activate it through the tool. Feb 20, 2021 · LBZ unshakeable p0045 p0090. So, got my first duramax and have been chasing a turbo issue. Got some codes and ended up pulling the turbo and giving the vanes a good deep clean, put it back together and they were nice and smooth. I still had the codes so I swapped the VPS and the solenoid with known good ones.
