I have the opportunity to purchase a G38 (prior G37 owner)and am wondering if G19 and G23 slides (have good deal on these too) will fit and function on the G38 frame. Of course I would use caliber correct mags. Right now, in my neck of the woods, 9mm and 40S&W is easier to come by than 45 GAP.The Glock 19 is one of the most famous handguns in history. The FMDA dd19.2 brings the G19 style frame to 3D printers everywhere. If you want to 3D print a Glock-style handgun the dd19.2 is a great place to start. The dd19.2 is overall styled after the Glock although it utilizes the Polymer 80’s pistol grip for improved ergonomics.I see that lone wolf makes a kit/ parts to put a G34 slide and barrel on the G19 frame for a G19XL. Just to clarify: they use a G34 slide but not a G34 barrel- they have a special LWD barrel (i.e. G19XL) that combines the lockup of a G19 with the length of a G34.
