I used my own router with fidium. When the tech came to install, I asked if I could write down the username and password for the Adtran. As soon as they left, I removed the Adtran and plugged my Linksys router into the ONT, then logged in PPPOE with [email protected] and the password the tech gave me. Everything works great. The issue occurred regardless of whether or not the two network extenders were plugged in or not. After trying lots of things, I configured my old Asus RT-ACRH13 as an access point and connected it to the 834-5 fidium router with ethernet cable and switched all devices to it.
