If the customer calls the driver, the customer's number is masked and shows up as DoorDash on the caller ID for the driver. That's a key element of the scam. People like you assume that the call must be coming from DD since it says DD on the caller ID. That's not the case. I am not saying that the DoorDash corporation is in on the scam.
