A month has passed and I receive an email stating that unfortunately, I have not been selected to continue in the hiring process.

Basically, if you want to hire onto the railroad and then work in another terminal besides the one you hired out at, BNSF will force you to protect your hiring terminal if you have a Primary Recall. There is the caveat about if your holding as a conductor or promote to engineer than it’s more difficult. Not impossible.
