Why did instacart charge me more.
The service fee increased for me this last week by nearly double. I've been doing $150 orders with 15% tip each week since the start of the pandemic and my service fee has always been $5-6. This week, doing the exact same store and nearly the same items as i always do (no heavy stuff, no big stuff, usually 30-35 items), the fee was $10.50.
That isn't your receipt, that's instacart's and the shopper isn't supposed to leave it with you. It says right on the main screen of the app for each store: "view pricing policy".
