When you start a challenge, it's kinda a rebirth but the NUMBER reverts back to 1, so after complete the challenge every thing will be continuously happen just like a normal rebirth. Lost for good however with equipment mods, ngu stats, larger energy/magic etc you recoup far faster.Most require 5-10 runs now instead of previous 20-80 and Laser Sword challenge is at 20 but does not need a number reset so can be done as a normal run.
