Nov 18, 2023 · Hi, I'm having heavy stuttering issues with the 6800XT Red Dragon in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Basically, every time the game stutters, the "Packet burst" symbol appears in the top left of the screen. These stuttering or freezes happen every game, approximately 3-4 times or a little more every few minutes. Starting with Warzone, I randomly began experiencing packet bursts indicated by orange 3-Squared-icon that would pop up on my screen. I did countless research to try and fix it and even threw the blame at my internet provider. It led to me dropping warzone. If you played mw2 with no issues before the cod hq update, its probably not your PC. Unfortunately, after the release of mw3, even mw2 (which was once perfectly fine for me, 180+ fps) is now plagued by packet burst as well. I hope they fix this soon, but they probably won’t since they cater to console players.

Your local connection or platform is the reason here, I don't see any packet burst on a high end pc with a 7ms ping stable to local servers here in Sydney.
