Healing. Healing Wraps (Bandages) is best used outside Combat. Aloe Extracts (or Better) is best used during Combat. Always carry some stacks of both with you and keep the Aloe Extracts in one of your hotbar slots. To heal your thralls you need to place the item in their inventory and use it.

Explosives dont do much (to thralls) in my experience. If its thralls with gas masks, bring a few thousand snake arrows and you can kill them with the 10 stack poison, or use daggers to apply a 20 stack bleed and dodge around till they drop. The unnamed city Poisoned Pike works well for this too. TLDR, DoT status effects and dodging.

And thralls aren't great about changing weapons. You can try 2 thralls, one with daggers and one with a 2 handed weapon. Two thralls with 1hand makes will wreck, but if a thrall has much higher Agility than Strength, then Daggers are the way to go. The best place to get thralls early on is from small exile camps that have 2-4 NPCs hanging out, and possibly a chest to loot. If you are feeling more adventurous, you can head to an NPC camp. Pick an interactive map and choose what points of interest you want displayed.In my example above, my thrall ended up with something like 30’ish in vitality, but the other stats was around 20’ish at best.
